Well, fortunately environmental organizations have spoken and they oppose nuclear power. Often they also oppose wind and solar power.
It’s easy to come up with reasons why something (or everything) sucks, and try to keep things from changing.
It’s harder to make pragmatic and ultimately flawed decisions, so there can be progress.
